Known for their world-class, glass making industry, Czechoslovakia was enormously successful in the 1920's and 1930's, making crystal perfume bottles for import to the United States.  Many beautiful designs, including Art Deco Czech-made perfume bottles, dominated much of the European and American market for cut, cast, cased and blown perfume bottles, this trend continued until the beginning of WWII.  Most Czechoslovakian perfume bottles came empty, to be filled with the desired fragrance.
